Get Involved
One of the best ways to lose weight is to get involved with something outside of yourself and your home. Sometimes we get into a rut where we stay where we are, we focus on the same things everyday and we eat because of boredom, stress and all the other emotions that come into play.
But when you go outside of yourself and the box around you, then new ideas, new emotions and new people are able to come into our lives. And we think about something other than ourselves and the lives we are currently living.
And it works. Because we actually forget to eat! We forget to eat all the time and only eat when we feel hunger and when it’s actually time to eat. And the good feelings that come from getting outside of out own little box overcomes the boredom or stress that drives us to eat.
Try it. Find a hobby or a club or volunteer somewhere. And let me know how it works for you.
